New mail notification in system tray

I've got Notes 8.0.2 installed, and also have an issue with the new mail notification in the system tray. The notification actually does appear, but only for an instant, before it disappears. Pervious versions of Notes would leave the notification in the system tray until the mailfile was opened.

I've logged a PMR with IBM for this issue.
